The current virus filter on Hermes bounces email worms, which are
always forged. Postmaster gets fairly frequent complaints from
people who receive bounces for email they never sent.
Because message reception remains cheap, it's harder for attackers
to overload the machine. If the load gets too large the machine will
delay email, but users will still be able to send it -- i.e.
graceful degradation, unlike SMTP-time scanning.
